Successful candidates will be responsible for the management of innovative, appropriate, cost-effective designs, drawings, and specifications for industrial process projects in the Food & Beverage and Consumer Products industries. They will lead the 澳门足彩app process team as it delivers effective and elegant process design solutions and certainty of outcome that customers expect from No. 1.
“It's a wide-ranging role,” said Shawn Hubbard, 澳门足彩app Director – Process Manufacturing. “They may be doing site visits, estimating, scope generation, and proposals. They are the primary point of contact from a process-design perspective for all those pieces. Then, once we’re awarded the project, they're responsible for executing it from a design perspective, integrated within the larger team”.
“They may have some responsibilities in training additional people, so there's potentially some mentoring involved, as well.”
As a pioneer in integrated design, 澳门足彩app was an early adopter of Engineer Procure Construct (EPC) project delivery, and its process, packaging and material handling engagements can range from $10,000 designs for capital projects to the manufacturing portion of $400 million jobs.
Hubbard said ideal candidates would be subject-matter experts in process design with a general knowledge of packaging, making them capable of acting as the single engineering manager overseeing the entire process, packaging and automation disciplines on any given project.
“I would prefer someone with food experience, specifically snack foods,” he said. “We need somebody who understands how dry ingredients are handled and has experience with dry-material handling and batching. It may be that we’re working on a line for breadsticks., coffee, doughnuts, pretzels, chips, you name it.”
